What It Is
Most flats are a nail or a screw in the tread. A hole in the tread can usually be repaired. A cut or a bulge in the sidewall cannot be safely repaired, and that tire needs replacing.
When the tire cannot be fixed on the spot, getting the spare on safely is the job, so you reach a tire shop on your own wheels instead of on a tow truck.

Signs You Need It
- A tire that is visibly low or flat
- A tire pressure light that comes back after you add air
- A nail or a screw you can see in the tread
- A thumping or a pull that started all of a sudden
How It Goes at Your Address
Tell him where the car is and which tire. On a driveway or in a lot, the tire gets repaired or the spare goes on. On a roadside, a safe spot to work comes first.
One of his reviewers had a flat repaired in her own driveway. Another had a tire plugged and filled back up during a bigger job. A third called him out for a tire repair.
Where His Line Is
Tire repair is not tire sales and it is not alignment. New tires are not on his list, and an alignment needs a rack, which he does not work from.

Tested on Roadside Work

What His Reviews Say
Three of his 113 written reviews name this job. Quoted in full, as written.
Amazing fast service and quality work. I had a flat tire that was repaired in my own driveway. Great affordable prices too
Brian was the most genuine , knowledgeable mechanic I’ve ever dealt with. He was very easy to communicate with and he did great explaining things and even took photos to show me what the issue was as well! My Tahoe got stuck in reverse and he had to replace some type of pin underneath and also pIugged one of my tires and had it filled back up with air in no time. He definitely isn’t like these other places out here just trying to rip you off! I will be using him in the future for sure and would highly recommend him to anyone!
Called for tire repair, he was prompt and very reasonable with his prices. Will be using him again in the future. Ty

Questions
Before You Call
Can every flat be plugged?
No. A puncture in the tread usually can. A cut or a bulge in the sidewall cannot be safely repaired, and that tire needs replacing.
Will he come to the side of the road?
His own listing says 24/7 roadside assistance and he is open 24 hours. Nine of his written reviews describe a breakdown, a jump or being stranded.
Should I drive on a flat to get somewhere safer?
Only as far as you must to be safe, and slowly. Driving on a flat ruins the tire and can damage the wheel.
