What It Is
Every car comes with a maintenance schedule in the owner's manual. Oil and filter, air filters, brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid, spark plugs, and checks on the brakes, the battery and the tires. Each one is cheap on its own. Skipping them is what turns into a tow, a head gasket or a dead transmission.
On his own listing he describes himself as specializing in preventive maintenance. Each of those jobs that is on his list has its own page, linked below.
Signs You Need It
- The car is past an interval in the owner's manual

- A long trip is coming up
- The car runs fine and you would like it to stay that way

Thank you for coming to my rescue today when I realized I was in a pickle. You prioritized my call, researched & discussed possible solutions and educated me in the process. You arrived as promised and gave me the reassurance that I needed! I won’t hesitate to call you for the next automotive crisis or even for routine maintenance. I truly appreciate you and the service you provided.
Great guy! It's awesome to have an honest auto mechanic who is also mobile. He did some troubleshooting and ruled out the more expensive ideas, and it turned out to be a simple fix. Offered other advice on how to save money on upcoming repairs as well. Would highly recommend in Waxhaw or other surrounding areas if you need a good auto mechanic who can also come to you.
Addition: Brian came back today and replaced the brakes and changed the coolant. He is on time, friendly, honest, and will def use again!
My car broke down and had to be towed home. I call Brian after looking up mobile mechanics on google, and he came same day, diagnosed the issue and got it fixed within couple of hours.
My wife and I are really happy with he’s service and will definitely call Brian again for any car maintenance or issues.

Questions
Before You Call
What does preventative maintenance include?
Whatever your owner's manual says is due at your mileage. From his list that covers oil changes, air filters, brake fluid, radiator flushes, transmission pan drops and spark plugs, with a look at the brakes and the battery.
Can he do more than one car in a visit?
One of his reviewers had the oil changed on two cars at her workplace in one visit. Ask when you call.
Is it cheaper than waiting for something to break?
Almost always. A fluid change costs far less than the part it protects, and it happens on your schedule rather than on the side of the road.
